Objective: To investiage the effect of electroacupuncture (EA) at a single acupoint of Shenmen (HT7), Baihui (GV20), Sanyinjiao (SP6) and at combined acupoints of Shenmen (HT7) and Baihui (GV20) and Sanyinjiao (SP6) on the PKA/CREB and BDNF/TrkB signaling, as well as neuroapoptosis and neurogenesis in hippocampus and elucidate the underlying mechanism of single and combined acupoints on ameliorating spatial learning and memory deficits in a rat model of primary insomnia.

Methods: Primary insomnia was modeled by intraperitoneal injection of para-chlorophenylalanine (PCPA) once daily for 2 d. EA was applied at Shenmen (HT7), Baihui (GV20), Sanyinjiao (SP6), or Shenmen (HT7) + Baihui (GV20) + Sanyinjiao (SP6) (combined) for 30 min daily for 4 d.

Objective: This article aims to upgrade the lane detection algorithm from image to video level in order to advance automatic driving technology. The objective is to propose a cost-efficient algorithm that can handle complex traffic scenes and different driving speeds using continuous image inputs.

Methods: To achieve this objective, we introduce the Multi-ERFNet-ConvLSTM network framework, which combines Efficient Residual Factorized ConvNet (ERFNet) and Convolution Long Short Term Memory (ConvLSTM).

Robust 3D lane detection is the key to advanced autonomous driving technologies. However, complex traffic scenes such as bad weather and variable terrain are the main factors affecting the robustness of lane detection algorithms. In this paper, a generalized two-stage network called Att-Gen-LaneNet was proposed to achieve robust 3D lane detection in complex traffic scenes.

The purpose of our study was to determine the risk factors for post-operative wound complications (PWCs) after open reduction and internal fixation (ORIF) for calcaneal fracture and establish a nomogram prediction model. We retrospectively analysed the clinical data of patients who suffered from calcaneal fractures and had been surgically treated for ORIF in our institution between January 2010 and January 2020. Perioperative information was obtained through the electronic medical record system, univariate and multivariate analyses were performed to determine the risk factors of PWCs, and a nomogram model was constructed to predict the risk of PWCs.

In our previous studies, we discovered the congenital cold syndrome (CCS), which is characterized by 'qi deficiency and qi stagnation, mixed cold and heat.' And there is a type of syndrome with special incidence characteristic. However, the diagnosis of CCS still lacks an objective basis.

Objective: To observe the effect of electroacupuncture (EA) stimulation of single and multiple acupoints on sleep and concentrations of interlukin-1 β(IL-1 β), brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), prostaglandin D(PGD) and melatonin (MLT, sleep-promoting factors) and corticosterone (CORT, awakening-promoting factor) in the serum in insomnia rats, so as to explore its efficacy difference and the mechanism underlying improving sleep.

Methods: Fifty-four male SD rats were randomly divided into control, model, EA-Baihui (GV 20), EA-Shenmen (HT 7), EA-Sanyinjiao (SP 6) and EA-GV 20+HT 7+SP 6 groups (=9 rats in each group). The insomnia model was established by intraperitoneal injection of para-chlorophenylalanine (PCPA, 300 mg/kg) once daily for 2 days.

In this paper, a simple and green strategy, based on the electrophoresis deposition technology, was reported to prepare Ag nanoparticles (NPs) modified TiO2 nanotube arrays (NTs). The morphologies of AgNPs, TiO2NTs and AgNPs/TiO2NTs were characterized by transmission electron microscope (TEM) and scanning electron microscope (SEM). The results demonstrate that the surface of TiO2NTs was homogeneously decorated with AgNPs, of which the morphology could be easily controlled by the electrophoretic deposition (EPD) time.

CuO nanofibers (NFs), prepared by electrospinning and calcination technologies, have been applied for the fabrication of glucose sensors with high sensitivity and selectivity. Cu(NO(3))(2) and polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) composite nanofibers were initially electrospun on the surface of indium tin oxide (ITO) glass, and then the CuO NFs-ITO electrode was formed simply by removing PVP through heat treatment. The structures and morphologies of CuO nanofibers were characterized by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy and thermogravimetric analysis.
