Background: Larimichthys crocea is an important aquaculture species along the southeastern coast of China, with diverse environment and farming practices since artificial breeding, these different aquatic habitats are subject to significant variations in environmental factors that may involve modulation of gene expression through epigenetic mechanisms to enable species to survive and reproduce.
Methods And Results: This study aimed to identify methylation variation sites (SMVs) in different sequence contexts (CG, CHG, and CHH) within populations of L. crocea in different habitats.
Advances in multiplex mass spectrometry-based technologies have enabled high-throughput, quantitative proteome profiling of large cohort. However, certain experimental design configurations can amplify sample variability and introduce systematic biases. To address these challenges, we incorporated two novel features in a recent proteogenomic investigation: (1) the inclusion of two reference samples within each mass spectrometry run to serve as internal standards, and (2) the analysis of each specimen as technical replicates across two distinct mass spectrometry runs.

However, the potential application of CAR-T cells secreted antibody fragment simultaneously in solid tumor is rarely explored. In this study, we searched bioinformatic databases and investigated the characteristics of CD47 in solid tumors.

Background: The correlation between the prognostic nutritional index (PNI) and the risk of stroke has become a hot spot within the medical research community. The available evidence from a large sample regarding the correlation between PNI and stroke is inadequate. There is also a need for more research analysis from national surveys.

In this study, a novel approach is presented to synergistically combine highly reactive vaterite-type calcium carbonate with aminopropyltriethoxysilane-modified cellulose nanofibrils (NH-CNFs) for the restoration of aged paper. Employed as a deacidification agent, vaterite demonstrated superior efficacy at a low dosage in comparison with commercially available calcite-type calcium carbonate.

In this study, an epoxy resin thermal insulation layer is interposed between the aluminum sheet substrate and the C/TiN/WC/PDMS photothermal composite coating. This method not only equips the coating with exceptional superhydrophobic properties but also markedly elevates its photothermal and anti-icing/ice-melting performance.

We performed deep multiomic profiling of 93 samples, including normal mucosa, benign polyps and dysplastic polyps, from six persons with FAP. Transcriptomic, proteomic, metabolomic and lipidomic analyses revealed a dynamic choreography of thousands of molecular and cellular events that occur during precancerous transitions toward cancer formation.

Case Presentation: We report a rare case of a young, non-immunocompromised man with cerebral palsy, spinal deformity, and pulmonary infection.
Platelet reactive protein 2 (PRP2) is closely related to the characteristics of tumor stem cells. Its role in cancer development and metastasis has received increasing attention, especially its interaction with the immune microenvironment. The study used cluster analysis to extract expression data of multiple cancer types from public databases, and combined with immune infiltration analysis, to evaluate the expression level of PRP2 and its correlation with different immune cell infiltration.

However, much of the current research on ion preintercalation lacks controllability, and the underlying mechanisms remain unclear. In this study, we employ a two-step electrochemical activation approach, involving galvanostatic charge-discharge and cyclic voltammetry, to modulate the preintercalation of NH in MnO.

Methods: In this retrospective cohort study, propensity score matching (PSM) was applied to address covariates. Univariate and multivariate regression analyses were implemented in sequence to find out the factors influencing intrapartum fever.
Background: INTS11 is a critical catalytic component of the Integrator complex that regulates RNA polymerase II termination and modulates gene expression. Until recently, INTS11 mutations were associated with human neurodevelopmental disorders, characterized by global developmental and language delays, generalized hypotonia, and progressive brain atrophy.
Case: We report the case of a 2-year-old Chinese girl who presented with global developmental delay, generalized hypotonia, refractory epilepsy, craniofacial dysmorphism, and progressive brain atrophy.

Objective: To investigate the effect of empathy on depressive symptoms in adolescents and to explore the potential mediating role of family functioning in the effect of empathy on depressive symptoms.
Methods: The 2022 cross-sectional data from the Chengdu Positive Child Development (CPCD) cohort were analyzed in the study. A survey was conducted in Chengdu in June 2022, involving 3020 students in grades 5-8 from three randomly selected stratified schools.
Synaptic vesicles are organelles with a precisely defined protein and lipid composition, yet the molecular mechanisms for the biogenesis of synaptic vesicles are mainly unknown. Here we discovered a well-defined interface between the synaptic vesicle V-ATPase and synaptophysin by in situ cryo-electron tomography and single-particle cryo-electron microscopy of functional synaptic vesicles isolated from mouse brains. The synaptic vesicle V-ATPase is an ATP-dependent proton pump that establishes the proton gradient across the synaptic vesicle, which in turn drives the uptake of neurotransmitters.

Background: Tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC) and primary lymphedema (PLE) are both rare diseases, and it is even rarer for both to occur in the same patient. In this work, we have provided a detailed description of a patient's clinical presentation, imaging findings, and treatment. And a retrospective analysis was conducted on 14 published relevant case reports.

Therefore, an optimal treatment strategy should aim to eliminate the inflammatory response in the joints and simultaneously restore the immune tolerance of Tregs in peripheral blood. Accordingly, we developed an efferocytosis-mimicking nanovesicle that contains three functional factors for immunomodulating of efferocytosis, including "find me" and "eat me" signals for professional (macrophage) or non-professional phagocytes (T lymphocyte), and "apoptotic metabolite" for metabolite digestion.

Here, to better understand the detailed molecular landscape following xenotransplantation, we carried out bulk and single-cell transcriptomics, lipidomics, proteomics and metabolomics on blood samples obtained from the transplanted decedents every 6 h, as well as histological and transcriptomic tissue profiling. We observed substantial early immune responses in peripheral blood mononuclear cells and xenograft tissue obtained from decedent 1 (male), associated with downstream T cell and natural killer cell activity.
