Prostate specific antigen (PSA) is a widely-used biomarker for the diagnosis, screening, and prognosis of prostate cancer (PCa). It is critical to develop a rapid and convenient method to accurately detect PSA levels, especially when the PSA levels are in the clinical gray area of 4-10 ng/mL. We developed a novel upconversion nanoparticle (UCNP)-based fluorescence lateral flow test strip for qualitatively and quantitatively detecting PSA.

To elucidate the phylogenetic relationship among the four species, the homology of repetitive sequences among the four species was analyzed by comparative genomic hybridization (cGISH). Subsequently four species were clustered based on the internal transcribed spacer (ITS) of 45S rDNA.

Methods: The panel data used in this study were taken from 19 research teams of GIRD during 2009 to 2013. Data envelopment analysis (DEA) based on Malmquist index (MI) was used to analyze the performance of each research team in terms of productivity changes over time.
We present transmissive plasmonic structural colors from subwavelength nanohole arrays with bottom metal disks for scaled-up manufacturing by nanoimprint lithography (NIL). Comprehensive theoretical and experimental studies are carried out to understand the specific extraordinary optical transmission behavior of the structures with such bottom metal disks. Distinctive colors covering the entire visible spectrum can be generated by changing the structural dimensions of hole arrays in Ag covered by the metal disks.
