Article Synopsis
  • This study examines how serum reproductive hormone levels relate to hormone receptor status in postmenopausal Chinese women diagnosed with breast cancer.
  • Researchers analyzed the medical records of 352 patients, focusing on luteinizing hormone (LH) levels and their correlation with the duration of postmenopausal status and hormone receptor expression.
  • Key findings indicate that LH levels decrease with longer postmenopausal duration, and a significant number of patients with high hormone receptor expression had a postmenopausal duration of less than five years, suggesting a link between reproductive hormones and breast cancer receptor status.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the cosmetic effects and histopathologic changes of the prostheses produced by inactivated autologous subcutaneous adipose tissue and dermal outer capsule in the mini-pig model.
