This article delves into the intricate interplay between tumors, particularly gynecologic malignancies, and neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs). The relationship between tumors, specifically gynecologic malignancies, and NETs is a multifaceted and pivotal area of study. Neutrophils, pivotal components of the immune system, are tasked with combating foreign invaders.

Endometriosis is an inflammation-dependent disorder characterized by the abnormal growth of endometrium-like lesions. In recent years, there is a great deal of interest in the development of anti-inflammatory therapy. Herein, an acid-sensitive calcium carbonate nanoparticle (CaNP) incorporated BML-111 (BML@CaNP) was prepared.

The aim of this study was to define the clinical outcome and prognostic determinants of distal pancreatectomy with en bloc celiac axis resection (DP-CAR) for pancreatic body/tail cancer. A pooled data analysis was performed on individual data for patients who underwent DP-CAR for pancreatic body/tail cancer as identified by systematic literature search. A total of 32 articles involving 109 patients were eligible for inclusion.

Aims: The regimens of neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC) in squamous cervical cancer (SCC) frequently use cisplatin combined with paclitaxel. Unfortunately, some cervical cancers show resistance to the principal chemotherapeutic agents in the treatment, decreasing the effectiveness of this therapy. The objective of this study was to search for predictive markers of response to NAC in patients with SCC.

Aims: Cervical cancer is one of the most frequent malignant tumours in women. The PI3K/Akt pathway plays a role in chemoresistance to platinum-based neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC). The objective of this study was to evaluate the association between genetic polymorphisms in the PI3K/Akt pathway and chemotherapeutic outcomes following platinum-based NAC in Northwestern Chinese Han patients with squamous cervical cancer (SCC).

Objective: To investigate the feasibility and effectiveness of human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells (HUCMSC) transplantation in the treatment of female stress urinary incontinence (SUI) in rats.

Methods: The 14 female SD rats of SUI model were established by vaginal balloon dilation after birth and maintain this status for four hours bilateral ovariectomy were performed after two weeks and were routinely reared for two months, then 12 SUI rat model were made. Two months later, transfected with plasmid pEGFP-N1 of HUCMSC were injected into the region surrounding the urinary tract matched with saline injection as control group.

Background Aims: This study was conducted to characterize gadolinium diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid (Gd-DTPA)-labeled and PKH26-labeled human umbilical cord mesenchymal stromal cells (HuMSCs) and to track them with magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in vitro and in vivo.

Methods: HuMSCs were isolated from umbilical cords and expanded in vitro. Cells were sequentially labeled with Gd-DTPA and PKH26.
