Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer-related deaths globally. Gene fusion, a key driver of tumorigenesis, has led to the identification of numerous driver gene fusions for lung cancer diagnosis and treatment. However, previous studies focused on Western populations, leaving the possibility of unrecognized lung cancer-associated gene fusions specific to Inner Mongolia due to its unique genetic background and dietary habits.

However, little is known about the complex regulatory system of lncRNAs in GC. In this study, we systematically analyzed lncRNA and miRNA transcriptomic profiles of GC based on bioinformatics methods and experimental validation.

Metabolic reprogramming, one of the important signs of malignant tumours, provides necessary nutrition for tumorigenesis and cancer development; thus, it has recently become a research hot spot, even though the metabolic mechanism is quite intricate. Circular RNA (circRNA) affects cancer cell metabolism through various molecular mechanisms, playing an important role in promoting or suppressing cancer.

Herein, we incorporated different copper selenides (CuSe, CuSe and CuSe) into a BiTe matrix to create the alloy by grinding and successive sintering to enable higher thermoelectric performance. The results demonstrated that all alloys achieved n-type TE characteristics and BiTe-CuSe exhibited the best Seebeck coefficient and power factor among them.

However, the delivery of the CRISPR/Cas9/sgRNA (RNP) gene editing tool severely limits the practical therapeutic effect of GC. Therefore, it is a great challenge to develop an RNP delivery system that is simple to prepare and can rapidly encapsulate RNP while achieving high delivery and gene editing efficiency.

On the contrary, the cell cycle-related molecules are abnormal in over 50% of the patients with gastric cancer (GC), but the efficiency of inhibiting CDK4/6 does not work well as it is expected. In our study, we found HMGA2 promotes GC through accelerating the S-G2/M phase transition, instead of G0/G1.

The interfacial issue resulting from surface trap states has become the crucial factor that limits the development of inverted perovskite solar cells (PSCs). Here, three unfused electronic acceptor-based polymers (PC-1-PC-3) with tailored alkyl groups were designed as interfacial materials to modify the interface contact between the perovskite active layer and electron transporting layer (ETL). Among them, PC-2 was found to extract interfacial charge faster and passivate trap states more efficiently.

HAND2-AS1 expression in GC tissues and cells was detected at first. Cell function assays were performed to investigate the biological roles of HAND2-AS1 in GC cells.

Heart and Neural Crest Derivatives Expressed 2 antisense RNA 1 (HAND2-AS1) was recently proposed to function as tumor suppressor in several human cancers. However, its role in gastric cancer (GC) remains unclear.

This study aims to investigate the diagnostic and prognostic values of miRNAs in sepsis secondary to pneumonia.

Compared to the unfused non-planar acceptor Tr-3PDI, FTr-3PDI exhibits better structural rigidity and planarity, as well as more effective conjugation between truxene core and PDI branches. As a result, FTr-3PDI shows up-shifted energy levels, enhanced light absorption coefficient, increased electron mobility, and more favorable phase separation morphology in bulk-heterojunction (BHJ) blend films as compared to Tr-3PDI.

The control polymer, PNDI-2HD, has two identical 2-hexyldecyl side chains, and the other polymers have different alkyl side chains; PNDI-EHDT has a 2-ethylhexyl and a 2-decyltetradecyl side chain, and PNDI-BOOD has a 2-butyloctyl and a 2-octyldodecyl side chain. These copolymers with different alkyl side chains exhibit higher melting and crystallization temperatures, and stronger aggregation in solution, than the control copolymer PNDI-2HD that has the same side chain.
