A deep understanding of the role of spin configurations of Fe-N-C catalysts in the adsorption and desorption of oxygen intermediates during ORRs is critical for the development of new catalysts for the ORR. Herein, we successfully implanted p-block metal single sites (SnN, SbN) into the Fe-N-C system to vary the spin states of Fe species and investigated the ORR performance of active metal centers with varying effective magnetic moments. Through a combination of zero-field cooling (ZFC) temperature-dependent magnetic susceptibility measurements and DFT calculations, we successfully established correlations between the spin state and ORR activity.

Substituting brown rice for white rice can increase the carcinogenic risk of inorganic arsenic (iAs) exposure, given that brown rice has a higher iAs content than white rice. This study estimated changes in the incremental lifetime cancer risk (ILCR) of iAs exposure from rice with increases in the proportion of brown to total rice consumption (PBT) in five regions around the world, including North America, Latin America, Europe, Asia, and Oceania. The results demonstrated that the magnitude of the increase in the ILCR of iAs exposure from rice expressed as an increase in PBT, ranged from 0.

Background: Poor anticoagulation management of warfarin may lead to patient admission, prolonged hospital stays, and even death due to anticoagulation-related adverse events. Traditional non-web-based outpatient clinics struggle to provide ideal anticoagulation management services for patients, and there is a need to explore a safer, more effective, and more convenient mode of warfarin management.

Objective: This study aimed to compare differences in the quality of anticoagulation management and clinical adverse events between a web-based management model (via a smartphone app) and the conventional non-web-based outpatient management model.

The purpose of this paper is to study the genetic polymorphisms of related gene loci (CYP2C9*3, VKORC1-1639G > A) based on demographic and clinical factors, and use the maximum a posterior Bayesian method to construct a warfarin individualized dose prediction model in line with the Chinese Han population. Finally, the built model is compared and analyzed with the widely used models at home and abroad. In this study, a total of 5467 INR measurements are collected from 646 eligible subjects in our hospital, and the maximum a posterior Bayesian method is used to construct a warfarin dose prediction that conforms to the Chinese Han population on the basis of the Hamberg model.

Antiplatelet drugs in patients increase the risk of intracranial hemorrhage (ICH), which can seriously affect patients' quality of life and even endanger their lives. Currently, there is no specific score for predicting the risk of ICH caused by antiplatelet drugs. We aimed to identify factors associated with ICH in patients on antiplatelet drugs and to construct and validate a predictive model that would provide a validated tool for the clinic.

Gross primary production (GPP) is a critical component of the global carbon cycle and plays a significant role in the terrestrial carbon budget. The impact of environmental factors on GPP can occur through both direct (by influencing photosynthetic efficiency) and indirect (through the modulation of vegetation structure) pathways, but the extent to which these mechanisms contribute has been seldom quantified. In this study, we used structural equation modeling and observations from the FLUXNET network to investigate the direct and indirect effects of environmental factors on terrestrial ecosystem GPP at multiple temporal scales.
