Sub--benziporphyrins were synthesized by Pd-catalyzed cross-coupling of ,'-diboryl--benzitripyrrane with 9,10-bis(1,1-dibromomethylenyl)anthracene. Reaction of sub--benziporphyrin with PhBCl and triethylamine gave its B-phenyl complex as a tetracoordinate nonaromatic B complex. In contrast, the reaction with BBr and triethylamine furnished a neutral B porphyrinoid with a planar and triangular coordination as the first example, in which the -phenylene unit was partially reduced, allowing for the global 14π-aromatic circuit.

The photosynthesis of hydrogen peroxide (HO), involving water oxidation and oxygen reduction, is crucial for optimizing light utilization. Here, a previously synthesized one-dimensional chain-like semiconductive uranyl coordination polymer (NDC-UCP) was used for the efficient overall photosynthetic reaction of HO and its photocatalytic mechanism was systematically investigated. The excellent stability of NDC-UCP enables continuous HO production for up to 96 h.

  • Hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) loss is a key indicator for determining the effectiveness of chronic hepatitis B treatment and this study examines how well HBsAg seroconversion holds up in patients.
  • A total of 295 patients who achieved HBsAg loss through a combination of nucleos(t)ide analogues and pegylated interferon alpha were analyzed, with findings showing that maintaining therapy after HBsAg seroconversion leads to lower recurrence rates.
  • The study developed a predictive model for HBsAg reversion, demonstrating that ongoing treatment and certain factors can enhance the likelihood of maintaining HBsAg loss, indicating a strong potential for improved patient outcomes.

The dynamic changes in volatile organic compounds (VOCs), reducing sugars, and amino acids of Dictyophora rubrovalvata (DR) at various drying temperatures were analyzed using GC-IMS, HPLC, and LC-MS. Orthogonal partial least squares discriminant analysis (OPLS-DA) combined with VOCs indicated that drying temperature of 80 °C was optimal. Variable importance in the projection (VIP) and relative odor activity value (ROAV) were employed to identify 22 key VOCs.

Hydrogen peroxide (HO) production driven by solar energy has received enormous attention due to its high efficiency, low cost, and environmental friendliness characteristics. Searching for new photocatalytic materials for HO production is one of the most important targets. In this work, a new three-dimensional (3D) uranyl-organic framework material was constructed with mixed ligands via a solvothermal reaction and used for photocatalytic HO production.

Quinoa is a full-nutrition food; however, its poor flavor and small size make it not the best food option for direct consumption. In this study, a quinoa snack (QS, a cake) was developed, and the aroma profile of the products was improved by adding jujube fruit powder (made from dried jujube fruits, from 5% to 30%). Gas chromatography mass spectrum (GC-MS) combined with electronic nose (e-nose) was applied for characterizing the aroma profiles of QS samples.

Ni porphyrin (P) and Ni 5,15-diazaporphyrin (DAP) hybrid tapes were synthesized by Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling reactions of - or β-borylated P with β-brominated DAP followed by intramolecular oxidative fusion reactions. -β doubly linked hybrid tapes were synthesized by oxidation of singly linked precursors with DDQ-FeCl. Synthesis of triply linked hybrid tapes was achieved by oxidation with DDQ-FeCl-AgOTf with suppression of peripheral β-chlorination.

Singly-linked aromatic [22]smaragdyrin BF complex dimer was synthesized by the reductive coupling of 16-brominated [22]smaragdyrin BF complex, which was oxidized to a stable diradical with PbO. As the first example of fused smaragdyrin dimer, a fused [22]smaragdyrin BF complex dimer was synthesized by the oxidation of a CuCl-BF complex dimer with FeCl and subsequent reduction with NaBH. After removal of the BF group, the singly-linked and fused aromatic dimers were oxidized to the corresponding antiaromatic [20]smaragdyrin free base dimers.

  • A carbazole-incorporated smaragdyrin BF-complex was created through a reaction involving a specific BODIPY compound and a carbazole derivative as a nucleophile.
  • The smaragdyrin complex then underwent a demetalation to yield a free base and was further oxidized to produce two different smaragdyrins with unique electronic properties due to their specialized ring structures.
  • Additional reactions involved creating a Rh complex from the free base and forming a spiro dimer product via oxidation, indicating a variety of possible modifications and uses for the smaragdyrin derivatives.

In this paper, the thermal performance of 54 horizontal-hole interlocking composite insulation blocks was numerically analyzed based on the steady-state heat transfer model, the regulations were found, and prediction models for the thermal parameters of the blocks were established based on the parallel network thermal resistance model. The influence of block types and block materials on the thermal performance was studied, and it was found that the thermal performance of H-shaped interlocking insulation blocks was better than that of crossed-shaped ones, and the lower the thermal conductivity of block materials, the better the thermal performance of blocks, among which the reduction of thermal conductivity of concrete materials improved the thermal performance of blocks the most. The simulated values of thermal conductivity of H-shaped interlocking insulation blocks and thermal conductivity under the parallel network thermal resistance model were highly linearly correlated with correlation coefficients as high as 0.

Developing luminescent materials with suitable correlated color temperature (CCT) and sufficient color-rendering index (CRI) is a challenging problem in the field of commercialized warm white LED lighting. Herein, a novel metal-organic gel (MOG) material named YTU-G-1(SE) was synthesized, consisting of zirconium metal coordinated with 1,1,2,2-tetrakis(4-carboxyphenyl) ethylene. YTU-G-1(SE) exhibits strong fluorescent properties with an aggregation-induced emission (AIE) effect, emitting yellow-green fluorescence at 515 nm.

The efficient synthesis of nanosheets containing two metal ions is currently a formidable challenge. Here, we attempted to dope lanthanide-based bimetals into porphyrin-based metal-organic skeleton materials (MOFs) by microwave-assisted heating. The results of the EDX, ICP, and XPS tests show that we have successfully synthesized porphyrin-based lanthanide bimetallic nanosheets (Tb-Eu-TCPP) using a household microwave oven.
