The emergence and development of low-cost and high-efficiency nanozymes are promising to replace natural enzymes promoting the application of chemiluminescence immunoassays. Herein, a rapid and highly sensitive flow injection chemiluminescence immunoassay based on cobalt hydroxide (Co(OH)) nanozyme was established to detect enrofloxacin (ENR) residues in food. In this system, Co(OH) nanosheets act as nanozymes to catalyze and amplify the chemiluminescence signal of the luminol-PIP-HO system, as well as a carrier for immobilizing antibodies to form stable immunoprobes.

In the study, we investigated the effects of vitamin E (VE) and selenium (Se) on the proliferation, apoptosis, and steroidogenesis in bovine ovarian granulosa cells under hydrogen peroxide (HO) - induced oxidative stress and elaborated the underlying mechanisms. Our results showed that VE or Se could stimulate the granulosa cell proliferation, possibly due to up-regulating the expression of CCND1 and decreasing the P21 levels under oxidative stress.

Once ROS is beyond the threshold of scavenging ability, it can induce oxidative stress, imperilling the reproductive performance of cows. The study was to investigate the effects of vitamin E (VE) on H O -induced proliferation and apoptosis of bovine granulosa cells and the underlying molecular mechanism.

However, whether the plant hormone brassinosteroids (BRs) are involved in this process is largely unknown. Here, we found that exogenous application of BRs reduced the ethylene-induced fruitlet abscission of litchi due to lower ethylene (ET) production and suppressed the expression of the ethylene biosynthetic genes LcACS1/4 and LcACO2/3 in the fruitlet abscission zone (FAZ).

Although many quantitative trait loci (QTLs) and associated genes for rice seed storability have been identified, the detailed genetic mechanisms of seed storability remain unclear in rice. In this study, a genome-wide association study (GWAS) was performed in 456 diverse rice core collections from the 3K rice genome.

With the assistance of chitosan, MoS2 QDs fixed by the one-step electrodeposition method show better ECL performance than those by traditional deposition methods due to better dispersibility and stability. Based on the quenching of the MoS2 QDs ECL signal by melamine, quantitative detection of melamine in the sample was performed.

Methods: Eleven pediatric patients diagnosed with HLH and treated with ruxolitinib (ruxolitinib group: group R) between November 2017 and August 2018 were retrospectively analyzed. Eleven age-matched pediatric patients with HLH undergoing conventional treatment (control group: group C) during the same period were also analyzed.
Wheat is a major food crop worldwide. The plant architecture is a complex trait mostly influenced by plant height, tiller number, and leaf morphology. Plant height plays a crucial role in lodging and thus affects yield and grain quality.

Specific glucomannan degrading enzymes are effective tools for the production of oligosaccharides from konjac glucomannan. However, there are still few reports of commercial enzymes that can specifically degrade konjac glucomannan.

Methods: A retrospective design was used to include 5,403 patients with acute abdominal pain in the Emergency Department of Hebei Provincial People's Hospital. The patients with acute abdominal pain between July and December 2017 in whom the etiology checklist and process thinking were not implemented were selected as the traditional group.
The crystallization processes of titanates are central to the fabrication of optical and electrical crystals and glasses, but their rich polymorphism is not fully understood. Here, we show when and how polymorphic selection occurs during the crystallization of barium titanate (BaTiO, BT) using in situ high energy synchrotron X-ray diffraction and ab initio molecular dynamic simulation. An anomalous structure transition is found in molten BT during cooling across the cubic-hexagonal transition temperature, which enables nucleation selection of BT by manipulating the undercooling: a cubic phase is preferred if nucleation is triggered at large undercooling, whereas a hexagonal phase is promoted at small undercooling.

However, the effect of preoperative CBZ treatment on MVD outcome is not clear.
Methods: From 2013 to 2019, 63 patients with classical TN underwent MVD at the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University, China.
Objective: To compare the efficacy of four therapeutic methods to modify gut microbiota dysbiosis and brain dysfunction in septic rats.
Methods: Rats were treated with fecal microbiota transplantation, prebiotics, probiotics, and synbiotics after exposure to lipopolysaccharide. The diversity and composition of gut microbiota, electroencephalogram values, and the concentrations of TNF-α, IL-1β, and IL-6 in the cortex were analyzed.
Elucidating the biochemical and molecular basis of premature abscission in fruit crops should help develop strategies to enhance fruit set and yield. Here, we report that LcERF2 contributes to differential abscission rates and responses to ethylene in Litchi chinensis (litchi). Reduced LcERF2 expression in litchi was observed to reduce fruit abscission, concurrent with enhanced pedicel growth and increased levels of hexoses, particularly galactose, as well as pectin abundance in the cell wall.

Background: This systematic review and meta-analysis was performed to evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of traditional Chinese manipulation in treating ankle sprains.
Methods: Seven databases were searched from inception to July 2020. A meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials comparing traditional Chinese manipulation and other conservative therapy for ankle sprains was conducted.
S100B(ββ) proteins are a family of multifunctional proteins that are present in several tissues and regulate a wide variety of cellular processes. Their altered expression levels have been associated with several human diseases, such as cancer, inflammatory disorders and neurodegenerative conditions, and hence are of interest as a therapeutic target and a biomarker. Small molecule inhibitors of S100B(ββ) have achieved limited success.

Acute kidney injury (AKI) is a common organ injury in sepsis, which leads to poor prognosis. Long noncoding RNA (lncRNA) small nucleolus RNA host gene 14 (SNHG14) was recognized to induce cell injury in LPS-induced acute lung injury and Parkinson's disease. We want to investigate the functions and mechanisms of SNHG14 in sepsis-induced AKI.
