Objectives: To explore the application value of virtual autopsy to obtain key evidence information on drowned corpses and its application value of virtual autopsy in the diagnosis of drowning.
Methods: In this study, 7 corpses were selected as the research objects. The image data of corpses were collected by computed tomography (CT) before conventional autopsy.
The present study aims to explore the effectiveness of decompressive craniectomy with bifrontal coronal incision in the management of severe contusion and laceration of bilateral fronto-temporal lobes, as well as the outcomes of early cranioplasty. The authors performed the bifrontal decompressive craniectomy on 56 patients with contusion and laceration of bilateral frontal and temporal lobes, and their follow-up treatment outcomes were tracked within 6 months using Glasgow Outcome Scale. The results showed that 33 patients (out of 56, 58.

Iridoid glycosides were the main active ingredient of Rehmannia glutinosa, of which catalpol has the highest content. This work will provide theoretical basis for metabolic study and cultivation of iridoids on the basis of the dynamic accumulation of catalpol and total iridoids in the growth of R. glutinosa.

Objective: To analyze the genetic diversity of wild Rehmannia glutinosa and evaluate and compare random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) and inter sample sequence repeat (ISSR) for analysis of R. glutinosa accessions.
Method: Two molecular markers, RAPD and ISSR were used for analyzing 55 wild R.

Objective: To compare difference in character between wild germplasm and cultivar of Rehmannia glutinosa Libosch.
Method: Field test and statistical analysis were applied.
Result: The results showed that the plant height and leave weight of individual plant in cultivar were decreased significantly comparing to wild germplasm, and the output was increased significantly.
Objective: To establish a seed testing methods for Salvia miltiorrhiza.
Method: Referring to the International Seed Testing Rules made by ISTA and the Seed Testing for Crops (GB/T3543. 1-1995) issued by China.

Objective: To control the seed quality market, a study on the seed determination practice in Polygala tenuifolia was carried out.
Method: By studying the thousand grain weight moisture content, viability, genuineness, purity and germination percentage, some indices of seeds were fixed to the standards. The seed determination practice in P.
Objective: To study on diversity of quality of Forsythia suspense collected from different regions.
Method: The hundred-seed weight of shucks was analyzed by the method of hundred grain mass. The thousand-seed weight of seeds was analyzed by the method of thousand grain mass.
Aim: To find new antibacterial agents of quinolone with high activity and low toxicity.
Methods: To design and synthesize 7-(7-aminomethyl-5-azaspiro [2,4] hept-5-yl)-1-cyclopropyl-6-fluoro-8-methoxy-1,4-dihydro-4-oxo-3-quinolinecarboxylic acid and its analogues, and to study their antibacterial activity in vitro and in vivo.
Results: Twenty new compounds (2 - 11, 17 - 26) were obtained including five targeted compounds (22 - 26).
A modified CTAB method was used in the extraction of total cellular DNA of Ganoderma lucidum. Four strains Cx, Ch, C3 and C4, and their counterparts, four space flown strains Sx, Xh, S3 and S4, were analysed by amplified fragment length polymorphism (AFLP) with several primer combinations. Polymorphic bands were detected between Sx and Cx, S3 and C3, respectively.
