Weak measurement is employed to measure faint signals due to its capability to amplify detection results above technical noise. However, achieving high amplification effects requires accurate adjustment to the experimental system. Estimating unknown time-varying phases, accurately estimating phases, and sensitively perceiving phase changes pose challenges, demanding the system to continuously remain at the appropriate working range.

Background: No effective constructs were available in mainland China to assess the whole spine function. The SFI was developed to evaluate spinal function based on the concept of a single kinetic chain concept for whole spine. The SFI has been translated to Spanish and Turkish with accepted psychometric properties.

The chemical structure studies on an important related substance of voglibose have been carried out using NMR spectroscopy and single crystal X-ray crystallography. For the structure identification study, hydrochloride monohydrate of this compound was isolated and purified. Its molecular structure was characterized and analyzed using 1D (1H NMR, 13C NMR, and DEPT) and 2D (1H,1H-COSY, HSQC, HMBC, TOCSY, and ROESY) NMR spectra.

Bone cells (osteoblasts) produce a collagen-rich matrix called osteoid, which is mineralized extracellularly by nanosized calcium phosphate (CaP). Synthetically produced CaP nanoparticles (NPs) have great potential for clinical application. However few studies have compared the effect of CaP NPs with different properties, such as shape and aspect ratio, on the survival and behaviour of active bone-producing cells, such as primary human osteoblasts (HOBs).

A multi-step sol-gel process was employed to synthesize bioactive glass (BG) nanoparticles. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) revealed that the BG nanoparticles were spherical and ranged from 30 to 60 nm in diameter. In vitro reactivity of the BG nanoparticles was tested in phosphate buffer saline (PBS), Tris-buffer (TRIS), simulated body fluid (SBF), and Dulbecco's modified Eagle's medium (DMEM), in comparison with similar sized hydroxyapatite (HA) and silicon substituted HA (SiHA) nanoparticles.
