Objective: Investigating the causal relationship between inflammatory cytokines and Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD) and identifying and quantifying the role of serum ferritin as a potential mediator.

Methods: Genetic summary statistics were derived from open genome-wide association study (GWAS) databases. We conducted a two-sample Mendelian randomization (MR) analysis to investigate the relationship between inflammatory cytokines (8,293 individuals) and NAFLD (8,434 cases, 770,180 controls).

LncRNA LINC01510 (LINC01510) was a newly identified tumor-related lncRNA whose dysregulation and potential function have been reported in several tumors. However, the expression, clinical significances, and action mechanisms of LINC01510 in papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) are still unclear. In this study, we firstly reported that LINC01510 was highly expressed in both PTC tissues and cell lines.

Article Synopsis
  • The study examined the growth effects of different substrate mixtures (peat soil, river sand, peanut shell) on three origins of Anoectochilus roburghii, measuring factors such as survival rate, plant height, and root characteristics.
  • Results indicated that a substrate ratio of 4:2:2 yielded the highest survival rate and the best growth metrics for A. roburghii across all origins.
  • Additionally, varying substrate ratios impacted the levels of polysaccharides, flavonoids, and polyphenols in the plants, with specific ratios favoring the accumulation of these compounds differently for each species.

Objective: To observe the therapeutic effect of electroacupuncture (EA) combined with cupping at the lumbo-back on post-stroke fatigue.

Methods: A total of 128 cases of post-stroke fatigue patients were randomly divided into EA + cupping group and medication group, with 64 cases in each group. EA (20 Hz, 2 mA) was applied to Baihui (GV 20), Yintang (EX-HN 3), Shuigou (GV 26), Hegu (LI 4), Zusanli (ST 36), Sanyinjiao (SP 6), and Taichong (LR 3) for 30 min, once daily for 30 times, and cupping was applied at the patient's lumbo-back region once every two days, and continuously for 5 weeks.

Objective: To observe the therapeutic effect of transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation (TEAS) combined with auricular acupoint sticking (AAS) for treatment of primary nocturnal enuresis (PNE).

Methods: Two hundred and fifty cases of PNE patients were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group, 125 cases in each group. Two groups were treated on basis of the routine treatment, the observation group was treated with TEAS at Zhongji (CV 3), Qihai (CV 6) and Sanyinjiao (SP 6) etc.

Objective: To compare the therapeutic effects of transcutaneous electrical point stimulation and medication on functional dyspepsia.

Methods: Two hundred and fifty cases were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group, 125 cases in each group. The observation group was treated with transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation and oral administration of placebo, transcutaneous electrical stimulated at Zusanli (ST 36), Liangmen (ST 21), Taichong (LR 3) etc.
