Recent studies have shown that alpha-1,3-mannosyltransferase (ALG3) promoted tumorigenesis and progression in multiple cancer types. Our study planned to explore the clinical implication and potential function of ALG3 in hepatocellular carcinoma. Data from public databases were used to analyze the ALG3 expression and its impact on the clinical significance of patients with HCC.

Robotic versus thoracoscopic combined anatomic subsegmentectomy for early-stage lung cancer: early results of a cohort study.

Background: Combined anatomic subsegmentectomy performed by video-assisted thoracic surgery or robot-assisted thoracic surgery is an emerging minimally invasive surgical technique for patients with early-stage non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). However, the early results of these two methods have barely been studied.

Methods: A retrospective analysis of medical records from Shanghai Ruijin Hospital between July 2017 and August 2021 included 62 patients, 32 of whom underwent video-assisted combined anatomic pulmonary subsegmentectomy and 30 underwent robot-assisted combined anatomic pulmonary subsegmentectomy.

Precise Localization in Craniotomy With a Retrosigmoid Keyhole Approach: Microsurgical Anatomy and Clinical Study.

Objective: We aimed to explore a method of precise localization within craniotomy based on skull anatomical landmarks via the suboccipital retrosigmoid approach.

Method: Craniometric measurements were taken from 15 adult dry skulls and eight cadaver head specimens. In the anatomical study, the keypoint corresponded to the transverse-sigmoid sinus junction's corresponding point on the external surface of the temporal mastoid process, eight cadaveric heads underwent a simulated craniotomy using the suboccipital retrosigmoid approach.

Organic Ammonium Ion Battery: A New Strategy for a Nonmetallic Ion Energy Storage System.

Objective: To summarise the process of conversion of epidural labour analgesia to anaesthesia for caesarean delivery and explore the relationship between duration of labour analgesia and conversion.

Methods: Parturients who underwent conversion from epidural labour analgesia to anaesthesia for caesarean delivery between May 2019 and April 2020 at the Chengdu Women's and Children's Central Hospital, Sichuan Maternal and Child Health Hospital, and Jinjiang District Maternal and Child Health Hospital were selected. If the position of the epidural catheter was correct and the effect was good, patients were converted to epidural surgical anaesthesia.
