Coupling between angiogenesis and osteogenesis has an important role in both normal bone injury repair and successful application of tissue-engineered bone for bone defect repair. Type H blood vessels are specialized microvascular components that are closely related to the speed of bone healing. Interactions between type H endothelial cells and osteoblasts, and high expression of CD31 and EMCN render the environment surrounding these blood vessels rich in factors conducive to osteogenesis and promote the coupling of angiogenesis and osteogenesis.

FvMYB10 protein has been proved to be a transcriptional switch for anthocyanin biosynthesis in strawberry. Owing to the sluggish water oxidation process, unearthing an ideal model for disclosing the impact of an architectural approach on the water oxidation activity of photocatalysts becomes a vital issue. Here, we propose an innovative in situ modification strategy for constructing ultrapure BiVO nanosheets on graphene (u-BVG) toward the accelerated photocatalytic water oxidation reaction. Considering the Mott-Schottky heterojunctions at the contact interface in u-BVG, the feasible electron transfer from excited BiVO to graphene facilitates the holes to migrate onto the BiVO surface for the water oxidation reaction.

Autophagy is a conserved process that delivers cytosolic substances to the lysosome for degradation, but its direct role in the regulation of antiviral innate immunity remains poorly understood. Here, through high-throughput screening, we discovered that CCDC50 functions as a previously unknown autophagy receptor that negatively regulates the type I interferon (IFN) signaling pathway initiated by RIG-I-like receptors (RLRs), the sensors for RNA viruses. The expression of CCDC50 is enhanced by viral infection, and CCDC50 specifically recognizes K63-polyubiquitinated RLRs, thus delivering the activated RIG-I/MDA5 for autophagic degradation.
