Background: Acute pancreatitis (AP) and chronic pancreatitis (CP) have high incidences and poor prognoses. The early screening of at-risk populations still awaits further study. The limitation was mainly based on observational studies, with limited sample size and the presence of confounding factors.

Quantitatively probing the ultimate limit of near-field enhancement around plasmonic nanostructures remains elusive, despite more than five decades since the discovery of surface-enhanced Raman scattering. Theoretical calculations have predicted an ultimate near-field enhancement exceeding 1000 using the best plasmonic material silver, but experimental estimations disperse by orders of magnitude. Here, we design a high-quality silver plasmonic nanocavity with atomic precision and precisely quantify the upper limit of near-field enhancement in ~1 nm junctions.

In abdominal wall defect repair, surgical site infection (SSI) remains the primary cause of failure, while complications like visceral adhesions present significant challenges following patch implantation. We designed a Janus multifunctional hydrogel patch (JMP) with antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and anti-adhesive properties. The patch comprises two distinct layers: a pro-healing layer and an anti-adhesion layer.

Background: Cuproptosis, a genetic process of copper-dependent cell death linked to mitochondria respiration, demonstrates its correlation with inhibiting tumoral angiogenesis and motility. Recent studies have developed systematic bioinformatics frameworks to identify the association of cuproptosis with tumors but any non-neoplastic diseases. Therefore, against the background of an increased incidence of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), the landscape of cuproptosis regulation in IBD is a critical need to be investigated.

Perovskites have engaged significant attention owing to rich species and remarkable physical properties as well as optoelectronic applications. Compared to bulk counterparts, ultrathin perovskites exhibit more available compositions due to the breaking of bulk lattice limitation. Coupled with crystal lattice relaxation and quantum confinement, infinite intriguing properties of ultrathin perovskites deserve to be explored.

Polymer matrix composites are expected to promote the development of embedded packaging technology for circuit boards, but it is still impossible to obtain polymer matrix composites with high permittivity and low loss tangent simultaneously. In this study, a laminated composite with a middle-layer possessing negative permittivity effects was prepared by hot pressing sintering using MAX phase ceramics as a conductive filler. High permittivity (170@1 kHz) and low loss tangent (0.

Cobalt-catalyzed cyclization of CO, imine, and epoxide has been developed. A convenient catalyst system composed of Co2(CO)8 and LiCl is identified, and the substrate scope has been explored. The reaction provides an efficient method for the synthesis of substituted 1,3-oxazinan-4-ones.
