An impaired epithelial barrier is often observed in allergic rhinitis (AR), which facilitates the infiltration of allergens. The aim of this study was to investigate the role of autophagy in the impaired epithelial barrier in AR and the related signalling pathways. A human nasal epithelial cell line was treated with dust mite allergen (Derp1).

AT7519 is a potent inhibitor of several cyclin-dependent kinases (CDKs) and is currently in the early phase of clinical development for cancer treatment. The potent anti-cancer activities of AT7519 have been reported in various cancers, but not in NPC.
