Recently emerging giant molecular acceptor (GMA) materials offer various advantages, such as precise chemical structure, high molecular weight (beneficial to film stability under several external stress), and impressive device efficiency, making them a promising candidate. Here, we report a dendritic hexamer acceptor developed through a branch-connecting strategy, which overcomes the molecular weight bottleneck of GMAs and achieves a high production yield over 58%.

To address the issue of low pesticide utilization owing to poor dispersibility, low leaf surface adhesion, and poor transport within plants, this study exploits electrostatic interactions between sodium lignosulfonate (SL) and dodecyltrimethylammonium chloride (DTAC) to induce self-assembly, followed by iron ion (Fe) chelation and loading with a natural product-based pesticide, rosin-based triazole derivative (RTD), yielding RTD@SL-DTAC-Fe nanomicrocapsules (NMs). It is worth noting that the presence of Fe enhances the dispersibility of the NMs. The water dispersibility and photostability of RTD are significantly improved after encapsulation, and a stimulus response to laccase is achieved.

The accumulation of small doses of hydrogen peroxide (HO) into food can cause many diseases in the human body, and it is urgent to develop efficient detection methods of HO. Herein, the hierarchical structure composite of NiCo-LDH nanosheets crosslinked NiMoO nanorods was grown in situ on carbon cloth (NiMoO NRs@NiCo-LDH NSs/CC) by micro-plasma assisted hydrothermal method. Thanks to the synergistic effect of three metals and (NiMoO NRs@NiCo-LDH NSs/CC) provided by nanorods/nanosheets hierarchical structure, NiMoO NRs@NiCo-LDH NSs/CC exposes more active sites and achieves rapid electron transfer.

Vectors incorporating the human H1 (hH1) promoter are being applied for RNA interference (RNAi) experiments and genome editing. Although extensive studies have been conducted on the hH1 promoter, our understanding of the mouse H1 promoter remains limited. In this study, we predicted the 163 bp mouse H1 (mH1) promoter and 84 bp mouse H1 core (mH1 core) promoter through global alignment and detected its RNA polymerase II (Pol II) and III activities through the expression of the EGFP and the abundance of artificial sequence, which were generally slightly weaker than those of the hH1 promoter.
