Background: The testicular cancer incidence rate in China has been rising since 1990, which has brought a huge burden to China, but its influencing factors are still under discussion. This study aims to investigate the trends of testicular cancer incidence and mortality in China from 1990 to 2021.
Methods: The trends were estimated by the Estimated Annual Percentage Change model and Joinpoint regression analysis model using the data from GBD 2021, and the influence of age, period, and birth cohort on testicular cancer within the analysis model of age-period-cohort.

Methods: Summary data for periodontitis were obtained from the GLIDE consortium (N = 45,563), while data for prostate diseases, including benign prostatic hyperplasia (N = 163,095), prostatitis (N = 134,299), and prostate cancer (N = 146,465), were sourced from the FinnGen database.

To effectively distinguish natural and cultured populations of , we used both traditional statistical analysis and neural network methods to compare six shape indices and twenty-one truss indices from otoliths of 174 randomly selected specimens (100 from a natural population and 74 from a cultured population). The results showed that among the six shape indices, ellipticity, roundness, and aspect ratio exhibited significant differences between the two populations. Twelve out of the twenty-one truss indices displayed significant differences.

Amines are one of the most ubiquitous functional groups in molecular junctions; however, the exact regulation of the charge transport through the protonation state of an amine group in the junction backbone remains elusive. We address this question here by designing a diphenylamine molecular backbone and experimentally investigating how protonation of the central amine group affects the charge transport. Our ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy measurements demonstrate the protonation reaction of the diphenylamine compound in the presence of either trifluoroacetic acid or HCl, and we observe a consistent trend of a modestly increased conductance for diphenylamine in the presence of acid, indicating that a protonated amine group in a diphenylamine backbone slightly enhances the electron conduction.

We have developed a scalable perforated micro-imprinting technology to greatly enhance LMA in high moisture meat analogue (HMMA). By imprinting 1 mm thick HMMA sheets with perforated patterns (optimized by AI), we observed up to 5 × more anisotropic separation of fibrous structures in a one-dimensional pulling LMA analysis, to match the fibrousness of the cooked chicken breast, duck breast, pork loin and beef loin.
