Objective: To establish a morphologic classification system for characterizing blast cells in patients with acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL) and analyze the correlation of different APL morphologic characteristics with conventional tests and genetic variants.
Methods: Based on the morphological characteristics of APL blast cells, a classification system of 14 categories was established to characterize the inter- and intra-individual cellular morphological heterogeneity of patients. The classification system was used for the morphological analysis of 40 APL patients, and the classification results were statistically analyzed with the patients' conventional test indexes and gene variant characteristics to analyze the correlation of different APL blast cell morphological features with conventional test indexes and gene variants.
Phytochemical investigation on the rhizomes and roots of Gentiana scabra (Gentianaceae) led to the isolation of five new triterpenoids (1-5), together with seven known ones (6-12). The structures and absolute configurations of the new compounds were elucidated by spectroscopic data interpretation, ECD calculation and X-ray crystallographic analysis. Noticeably, compound 4 was an uncommon 3,4-seco-pentacyclic triterpenoid in natural products.

Up to date, exploration of robust and stable cocatalysts is remained challenging. Inspired by the intrinsic merits of single-atom catalysts (SACs), such as distinctive electronic structure and high atomic utilization efficiency, single-atom/transition metal chalcogenides (TMCs) is utilized as a model to synthesize CdS-Pd single-atom catalyst (CdS-PdSA) heterostructures.

A total of 12 cases have been previously reported, and in most of these cases, intra-focal calcification was observed. This paper aims to report a case of non-calcified intrahepatic primary osteosarcoma.

Nonetheless, to date, precise charge modulation over metal NCs has still been challenging considering their ultra-short carrier lifetime and poor stability. In this work, we conceptually demonstrate the integration of metal NCs with MXene in transition metal chalcogenide (TMC) photosystems a progressive, exquisite, and elegant interface design to trigger tunable, precise and high-efficiency charge motion over metal NCs, stimulating a directional carrier transport pathway.

Earlier diagnosis is crucial for improving patient survival and prognosis. This study aimed to investigate the risk factors of malignant SSPNs and establish and validate a prediction model based on computed tomography (CT) characteristics to assist in their early diagnosis.

In recent years, significant advances have facilitated tree shrew studies, including the determination of the tree shrew genome, genetic manipulation using spermatogonial stem cells, viral vector-mediated gene delivery, and mapping of the tree shrew brain atlas. However, the limited availability of tree shrews globally remains a substantial challenge in the field.

This manuscript provides a theoretical analysis of linewidth characterization methods based on the beat frequency power spectrum and laser phase noise calculations, and elaborates on existing research of measurement technologies. In addition, to address the technical challenges of complex measurement systems that commonly rely on long optical fibers and significant phase noise jitter in the existing research, a short-delay self-heterodyne method based on coherent envelope spectrum demodulation was discussed in depth to reduce the phase jitter caused by 1/ noise.

We aim to explore a scoring system for predicting the composite outcome of progression to severe AKI or death within seven days among early AKI patients after cardiac surgery.
Methods: In this study, we used two independent cohorts, and patients who experienced mild/moderate AKI within 48 h after cardiac surgery were enrolled.
The early symptoms of neurodegenerative diseases include oxidative stress disorder and accelerated inflammation levels. Edible fungi polysaccharides play essential roles in anti-neuroinflammation. We analyzed the regulatory mechanisms of polysaccharides from extracellular Armillariella tabescens (ATEP) in alleviating neuroinflammation in mice.

Mutations in mtDNA result in various mitochondrial disorders without available cures. However, the manipulation of mtDNA via the mitochondria-targeted gene delivery faces formidable barriers, particularly owing to the mitochondrial double membrane.
