Importance: The optimal strategy of combining left atrial appendage occlusion (LAAO) with catheter ablation (CA) in patients with atrial fibrillation (AF) during a single procedure remains unclear.

Objective: To determine the effects of ablation-first vs occlusion-first strategies on long-term clinical outcomes among patients with atrial fibrillation undergoing a combined LAAO and CA procedure.

Design, Setting, And Participants: The prospective, multicenter COMBINATION randomized clinical trial was conducted in 14 high-volume centers in China.

Safety and efficacy of daratumumab in Chinese patients with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma: a phase 1, dose-escalation study (MMY1003).

Daratumumab monotherapy demonstrated favorable safety and efficacy in relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma (RRMM) patients in the global phase 1/2 GEN501 and phase 2 SIRIUS studies. MMY1003 evaluated daratumumab monotherapy specifically in Chinese patients with RRMM. This 3-part, open-label, phase 1, dose-escalation study included patients with ≥ 2 prior lines of therapy.

Multicenter prospective study to validate a new transient elastography device for staging liver fibrosis in patients with chronic hepatitis B.

Objectives: To validate the operational and diagnostic performances of a new device for transient elastography (TE), FibroTouch, for liver fibrosis in patients with chronic hepatitis B (CHB).

Methods: In this prospective multicenter study, adult patients with CHB and valid liver pathological results were recruited to validate the operational and diagnostic performance of a TE device by FibroTouch for staging liver fibrosis.

Results: In total, 517 patients with histologically proven CHB were enrolled.
