Objective: Our study successfully developed an assay kit for thrombin-antithrombin complex (TAT) and demonstrated the predictive value of plasma TAT concentration in the development of venous thromboembolism (VTE) in patients with cervical cancer.
Method: A retrospective analysis was conducted on 177 patients with cervical cancer who received treatment at the Affiliated Hospital of Jiangnan University in Wuxi City from July 1, 2023 to October 1, 2023. This study provides a comprehensive analysis of cervical cancer patients and their VTE risk factors.
Understanding water behavior in salt solutions remains a notable challenge in computational chemistry. Conventional force fields have shown limitations in accurately representing water's properties across different salt types (chaotropes and kosmotropes) and concentrations, demonstrating the need for better methods. Machine learning force field applications in computational chemistry, especially through deep potential molecular dynamics (DPMD), offer a promising alternative that closely aligns with the accuracy of first-principles methods.

However, the precise alterations in the topological configuration of dynamic functional networks are still not fully understood. This study aimed to investigate the topological structure of dynamic brain functional networks in RD patients.

To address these challenges, a bioinspired adaptive broadband image sensor is developed. This innovative sensor leverages a meticulously designed type-I heterojunction alignment of 0D perovskite quantum dots (PQDs) and 2D black phosphorus (BP).

However, identifying a high-performance strategy with good efficiency and low toxicity is still urgently needed. Antibacterial photodynamic therapy (PDT) is considered a non-invasive and efficient approach with minimal drug resistance.

However, the same events may be understood differently by different individuals depending on their personalities. Therefore, the changing educational environment during the COVID-19 pandemic may not have been perceived equally by all students.

Structured illumination microscopy (SIM) is a widely applied fluorescence super-resolution imaging technique. It can also serve as high-throughput imaging in coherent imaging systems. However, coherent SIM requires additional qualitative/quantitative phase imaging methods to acquire phase information.

A total of 104 healthy adult male mice were divided into two groups, assessed at 10 and 30 days. Within each group, six treatment categories were tested: the control (CK), quinestrol alone (Q1, Q5), and quinestrol combined with varying doses of ketoconazole (Q1 + K0.

This study evaluated the prognostic significance of the perichemotherapy skeletal muscle index (SMI) and carbohydrate antigen 19-9 (CA 19-9) in patients with BRPC or LAPC treated with FOLFIRINOX.
Methods: We retrospectively evaluated 227 patients with BR or LAPC who received at least four cycles of chemotherapy between 2015 and 2020.
Hypoxia is one of the most typical features among various types of solid tumors, which creates an immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment (TME) and limits the efficacy of cancer treatment. Alleviating hypoxia becomes a key strategy to reshape hypoxic TME which improves cancer immunotherapy. However, it remains challenging to perform tumor precision therapy with controllable switches through hypoxia-activated gene editing and prodrugs to alleviate hypoxia.

Methods: A total of 198 patients who received dental implantation in Lishui Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from June 2021 to June 2023 were selected and divided into minimally invasive group (n=100) and traditional group (n=98) according to treatment methods. Minimally invasive surgery was performed in the minimally invasive group and traditional flap surgery was performed in the traditional group.
Primary cilium is an important hub for cell signaling and dysregulation of primary cilia assembly and disassembly is associated with the development of cancer and chemotherapeutic drug resistance, as well as the genetic disorders collectively known as ciliopathy. β-catenin plays a major role in canonical Wnt signaling; however, its association with primary cilia has only recently been highlighted in reports of β-catenin-mediated primary ciliogenesis. In this study, we found that β-catenin p-S47 was localized to the Golgi apparatus and the nucleus, and the amount of β-catenin p-S47 at these locations was significantly higher during primary ciliogenesis compared with asynchronous cell growth conditions.

By leveraging the latest machine learning force field to model aqueous AlCl, we discover that upon dissolution of Al, water molecules beyond the second hydration shell are involved in the hydration process. A combination of scissoring of coordinating water is followed by synchronized secondary motion of water in the second solvation shell due to hydrogen bonding.

The potential directional alterations in functional connectivity within the primary visual cortex (V1) in RD patients remain to be elucidated.
Methods: In this study, we employed seed-based functional connectivity analysis along with Granger causality analysis to examine the directional alterations in dynamic functional connectivity (dFC) within the V1 region of patients diagnosed with RD.
An efficient and practical method for the preparation of the phospholene fused β-phosphinolactam skeleton from α-C-bridged biphospholes and nitrones is described. The dissociation of biphospholes generates transient 1-phosphafulvenes, followed by oxidation with nitrones to give the 1-phosphafulvene oxides. The oxidation of 1-phosphafulvene boosts its reactivity toward imine, leading to the isolated products.
