Methods: Between March 2015 and November 2016, a phase II clinical trial was performed. Fifty consecutive patients with LAGC were randomly assigned to two groups: the experimental group (radical gastrectomy + HIPEC with cisplatin + adjuvant chemotherapy) and the control group (radical gastrectomy + adjuvant chemotherapy).
Herein, a copper-catalyzed intermolecular [4+1] spiroannulation of indoles with alkynyldiazoketones affording various indole-based spirocyclic molecules a chemoselective C-H functionalization/dearomatization sequence was developed.

Atherosclerotic cardiovascular diseases can lead to myocardial infarction and stroke, which are linked to elevated rates of mortality. Morin is a flavonoid compound that can be extracted from mulberries and possesses anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. The objective of this research is to elucidate Morin's impact on atherosclerosis.

Skin flaps are widely used in reconstructive surgery, and their survival depends heavily on the formation of new blood vessels. Exosomes, small extracellular vesicles secreted by various cells, have emerged as important mediators of intercellular communication and play a crucial role in biological processes such as angiogenesis.

(LLA) have been used in traditional Chinese medicine for more than 2000 years, their medicinal potential remains underexplored compared with the fruits of this plant species. Therefore, the aims of this study were to investigate the antioxidative activities of different solvent fractions of LLA leaf extract and to identify the active components and their spatial distribution within the leaf tissue.

Current fluorogenic RNA:fluorophore complexes typically emit visible fluorescence. However, it is challenging to develop fluorogenic RNA with near-infrared (NIR) fluorescence for in vivo imaging and sensing studies.

Among agricultural machinery, autonomous driving technology for agricultural tractor-trailer vehicles (ATTVs) has garnered significant attention in recent years. ATTVs comprise large implements connected to tractors through hitch points and are extensively utilized in agricultural production.

A green and universal deprotonation-driven strategy is used to screen the guanylic acid-metal ion coordination polymer nanoparticles (GMC), instead of the failure of binding occurs when specific metal ion participation. We find that the precise pH-dependent oxidase-like activity of GMC-2 orchestrates a duple symphony of immune modulation for biofilm infections.

However, theranostics primarily emphasizes the end result of integration, without providing sufficient details on how precise diagnosis and synergetic individualized treatment could be achieved and what clinical challenges could be effectively addressed in clinical practice. Molecular probe technology provides a robust method to bridge the gap between theory and practice.

Oxidative stress and inflammation are pivotal factors contributing to severe neurological deficits after SCI. In this study, a type of curcumin (Cur) nanoparticle (HA-CurNPs) was developed to address this challenge by alleviating oxidative stress and inflammation.

Pyridinyl PSs displayed potent photodynamic efficacy, and monorigidified PSs were very effective. The monorigidified PS with -pyridinyl moiety displayed the most potent photoactivity and negligible dark toxicity with a favorable dark/phototoxicity ratio (>4800).

The present study aimed to examine the individual differences in SWT and their predictors and outcomes. Latent profile analyses were conducted using cross-sectional data collected form 448 Chinese male sailors who experienced a prolonged (>30 d) non-24-h rotating shift schedule at sea.

Background: Analyzing the variations in serum bile acid (BA) profile can provide a certain biological basis for early warning and prevention of various diseases. There is currently no comprehensive study on the relationship between the serum BA profile and colonic polyps.
Aim: To study the serum BA profile detection results of patients with colonic polyps, and analyze the correlation between BA and colonic polyps.
Purpose: Accumulating evidence suggests that neurotensin (NTS) and neurotensin receptors (NTSRs) play key roles in lung cancer progression by triggering multiple oncogenic signaling pathways. This study aims to develop Cu-labeled neurotensin receptor 1 (NTSR1)-targeting agents with the potential for both imaging and therapeutic applications.
Method: A series of neurotensin receptor antagonists (NRAs) with variable propylamine (PA) linker length and different chelators were synthesized, including [Cu]Cu-CB-TE2A-iPA-NRA ([Cu]Cu-4a-c, i = 1, 2, 3), [Cu]Cu-NOTA-2PA-NRA ([Cu]Cu-4d), [Cu]Cu-DOTA-2PA-NRA ([Cu]Cu-4e, also known as [Cu]Cu-3BP-227), and [Cu]Cu-DOTA-VS-2PA-NRA ([Cu]Cu-4f).
NbO has been viewed as a promising anode material for lithium-ion batteries by virtue of its appropriate redox potential and high theoretical capacity. However, it suffers from poor electric conductivity and low ion diffusivity. Herein, we demonstrate the controllable fabrication of Cu-doped NbO with orthorhombic (T-NbO) and monoclinic (H-NbO) phases through annealing the solvothermally presynthesized NbO precursor under different temperatures in air, and the Cu doping amount can be readily controlled by the concentration of the precursor solution, whose effect on the lithium storage behaviors of the Cu-doped NbO is thoroughly investigated.
