Background: No comprehensive study has been conducted on the effects of high tibial osteotomy (HTO) on the coronal, sagittal, and axial alignments of the ankle joint. Therefore, this study aimed to investigate the multiplane changes in the ankle joint following HTO using the EOS biplanar X-ray imaging system.
Methods: The medical records of 43 patients who underwent HTO for the treatment of medial knee osteoarthritis were retrospectively reviewed.
Objective: To explore whether early physical interventions, including neuromuscular retraining therapy, can minimize excessive movement or any unwanted co-contraction after a severe Bell's palsy.
Data Sources: From March 2021 to August 2022, the therapist treated Bell's palsy patients for the acute (<3 months, Group A), subacute (3-6 months, Group B) and chronic (> 6 months, Group C) stages of the condition.
Methods: We explored whether early physical interventions, including neuromuscular retraining therapy, can minimize facial synkinesis after a severe episode of Bell's palsy.
This paper proposes a cloud-based software architecture for fully automated point-of-care molecular diagnostic devices. The target system operates a cartridge consisting of an extraction body for DNA extraction and a PCR chip for amplification and fluorescence detection. To facilitate control and monitoring via the cloud, a socket server was employed for fundamental molecular diagnostic functions such as DNA extraction, amplification, and fluorescence detection.

Objectives: As of March 3, 2020, the Shincheonji religious group accounted for the majority of Korean cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). Nonetheless, the most likely cause of the broad spread of COVID-19 among members of the Shincheonji religious group remains largely unknown.
Methods: We obtained data of laboratory-confirmed cases related to the Shincheonji religious group from press releases by Korean public health authorities and news reports.
