Objective: This study aimed to conduct a network meta-analysis to evaluate the efficacy of various non-surgical treatments for intermittent exotropia(IXT).
Methods: A comprehensive search of the PubMed, EMbase, and Cochrane Library databases was performed to identify relevant randomized controlled trials (RCTs) up to June 2024. Following independent screening, data extraction, and bias assessment by two researchers, network meta-analysis was conducted using R 4.
During the hydrothermal treatment process, sludge proteins can interact with other organic matter, thereby affecting protein structure and altering protein solubility. This paper investigates the effects and causes of monosaccharides and lipids on protein structure and solubility during thermal hydrolysis of sludge. The results indicated that monosaccharides increase protein solubility by preventing the conversion of proteins into free amino acids.

Improving the slow redox kinetics of sulfur species and shuttling issues of soluble intermediates induced from the multiphase sulfur redox reactions are crucial factors for developing the next-generation high-energy-density lithium-sulfur (Li-S) batteries. In this study, we successfully constructed a novel molecular electrocatalyst through in situ polymerization of bis(3,4-dibromobenzene)-18-crown-6 (BD18C6) with polysulfide anions on the cathode interface. The crown ether (CE)-based polymer acts as a spatial "fence" to precisely control the unique redox characteristics of sulfur species, which could confine sulfur substance within its interior and interact with lithium polysulfides (LiPSs) to optimize the reaction barrier of sulfur species.
