Transformation and environmental chemical characteristics of hazardous trace elements in an 800 t/d waste incineration thermal power plant.

The hazardous trace elements (HTEs) emitted during the municipal solid waste incineration (MSWI) process have been widely concerned. In this work, the bottom ash (BA), heat recovery boiler ash (HA), and ash after desulfurization (SA) were collected to explore the occurrence forms of HTEs in the three types of ash and their relationship with minerals and leaching characteristics. The results show that the volatility of the seven studied HTEs follows the order of Cd, As > Ni, Zn > Pb > Cr, Cu.

Psychometric network analysis of the Intuitive Eating Scale-2 in Chinese general adults.

The Intuitive Eating Scale-2 (IES-2) is a measure of intuitive eating behaviors that has been extensively validated, with traditional latent variable modeling approaches, in youth and adults from many different populations, including college students in China. However, there is still a lack of research on the psychometric properties of the IES-2 in adults from the Chinese general population. Moreover, psychometric network analysis, as a complement to traditional latent variable modeling approaches, has not been used for examining the psychometric properties of the IES-2.

This study focuses on investigating the impact of neonatal sevoflurane exposure on cell-type-specific alterations in the prefrontal cortex (PFC) of young mice. Neonatal mice were subjected to either control treatment (60% oxygen balanced with nitrogen) or sevoflurane anesthesia (3% sevoflurane in 60% oxygen balanced with nitrogen) for 2 hours on postnatal days (PNDs) 6, 8, and 10.

In this study, a new species named is described from Luozha, southern Tibet, China. Genetic analysis based on two mitochondrial genes 16S rRNA and COI and the nuclear gene RAG1 revealed that the new species belongs to an independent phylogenetic clade close to and and shares no RAG1 haplotype with other species.
