Background/aims: To evaluate the association between statin use and rates of standard automated perimetry (SAP) and retinal nerve fibre layer (RNFL) change in patients with glaucoma and glaucoma suspects.

Methods: This retrospective cohort study included subjects from the Duke Glaucoma Registry with primary open-angle glaucoma and glaucoma suspects. Subjects were assigned to groups according to history of statin use.

Purpose Of Review: This study will review the research on the effect of ginkgo biloba extract (GBE) on patients with glaucoma.
