Purpose: This study explores the spirituality, spiritual well-being (SWB), and spiritual care provision of registered nurses on a maternal-infant unit.

Methods: Data collection instruments included a demographic and spiritual care form, Spiritual Perspective Scale (SPS), and Spiritual Well-Being Scale (SWBS) to address the study's research questions.

Findings: Significant positive correlations were found between SPS and SWBS as well as religious well-being (RWB) and existential well-being (EWB; subscales of SWBS).

This article provides an overview of the process and procedures used to develop and implement a system of case management for middle-aged and older depressed adults in a rural health nursing clinic. This system included on-site case management for elderly clients and telephonic follow-up by case managers on an ongoing basis.

This study, using a modified Delphi approach, examines the purpose, roles, responsibilities, and outcomes of endowed chairholders in nursing. Deans and faculty who hold endowed chairs participated in this 3-phased study. While the ranking of importance varied between these 2 groups of experts, common themes emerged relative to the phenomenon under investigation.

On May 11, 2001, the Bureau of Primary Health Care notified West Alabama Health Services, doing business as Family HealthCare of Alabama, that it was terminating $6 million in grants due to non-compliance and amid allegations of financial mismanagement and fraud. West Alabama Health Services, a not-for-profit organization, operated 19 community health centers that provided preventive and primary care services for 17 counties in Alabama. This disruption of health services engendered considerable stakeholder debate.
