The Vaud colorectal cancer screening program (CCR) provides a 20-page decision support tool for the 50-69-year-old population. Three new tools have now been designed specifically for citizens with a low level of health literacy: a simplified 6-page leaflet presenting the choice of a Fecal Occult Blood Test (FIT) and colonoscopy; a 2-page leaflet presenting the detection and screening of 4 common cancers; and a short video presenting the FIT test.
