Background: Women experiencing greater trochanteric pain syndrome (GTPS) report high levels of pain and reduced quality of life. Exploring how they manage GTPS in a daily life context can provide important knowledge about individual coping strategies. Education, extracorporeal shockwave therapy (ESWT) and exercise have good group level evidence for efficacy in clinical trials and are increasingly used in routine care for patients with GTPS.

Carbon nitride materials include functional materials, and their chemical diversity and complexity are becoming increasingly appreciated. Heating of NHSCN leads to a range of new carbon nitride compounds, which have been structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Heating at ambient pressure to 175°C leads to guanidinium thiocyanate, HCNSCN (1), and when maintaining that temperature for about 12 h a water-insoluble carbon nitride product is formed, which is a co-crystal between melamine and melamium thiocyanate, [HCN]·[HCN]·[SCN] (2).

The cells are for multipurpose use, in particular the study of solid-gas reactions in dosing or flow mode, but can also handle samples involved in solid-liquid-gas studies. The sample can be loaded into a single-crystal sapphire (Al(2)O(3)) capillary, or a quartz (SiO(2)) capillary closed at one end.
