Background: Previous research endeavors examining the association between clinical characteristics, sonographic indices, and the risk of adverse perinatal outcomes in pregnancies complicated by fetal growth restriction have been hampered by a lack of agreement regarding its definition. In 2016, a consensus definition was reached by an international panel of experts via the Delphi procedure, but as it currently stands, this has not been endorsed by all professional organizations.

Objective: This study aimed to assess whether an independent association exists between estimated fetal weight and/or abdominal circumference of <10th percentile and adverse perinatal outcomes when consensus criteria for growth restriction are not met.

Hemivertebra is a congenital vertebral malformation caused by unilateral failure of formation during embryogenesis that may be associated with additional abnormalities. A systematic review was conducted to investigate genetic etiologies of non-isolated hemivertebra identified in the fetal, neonatal, and infant periods using PubMed, Cochrane database, Ovid Medline, and ClinicalTrials.gov from inception through May 2022 (PROSPERO ID CRD42021229576).

Introduction: Prenatally diagnosed Ebstein's anomaly with tricuspid valve dysplasia (EA/TVD) is a rare and high-risk congenital heart malformation with limited effective treatments. We report a case of severe fetal EA with hydrops treated with modest doses of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) therapy, resulting in reversal of hydrops and a favorable fetal outcome.

Case Presentation: Fetal heart defects included an inferiorly displaced tricuspid valve, severe tricuspid regurgitation, significantly dilated right atrium, and hypoplastic pulmonary valve with moderate regurgitation resulting in a circular shunt across the ductus arteriosus.

Normal physiologic changes in pregnancy include mild hyponatremia. In some cases of preeclampsia, more significant hyponatremia has been associated with syndrome of inappropriate antidiuretic hormone secretion and hypervolemic hyponatremia. A 45-year-old gravida 2, para 0010 with a dichorionic twin gestation was diagnosed with preeclampsia at 30 weeks 6 days and noted to have concomitant hyponatremia of 125 mEq/L at our institution.

Background: Scalp dermoid cysts are subcutaneous sacs lined with a stratified squamous epithelium containing developmentally mature ectodermal tissues, including skin, hair follicles, sweat glands, and sebaceous glands.

Methods: Because they consist of developmentally mature tissues, scalp dermoid cysts are generally benign. Typically, cysts are limited to an extracranial location, and management generally involves simple surgical resection.
