Primary gastrointestinal (GI) melanomas (PGIMs) are rare, accounting for a small fraction of GI malignancies and particularly uncommon in the small bowel. Diagnosing PGIMs is challenging due to its varied presentations and the difficulty in distinguishing it from metastatic melanoma.
