Atypical and malignant cutaneous tumors are understudied in the pediatric population, with limited data on long-term follow-up. This study examines pediatric (0-18 years) atypical melanocytic proliferations over a twenty-year period (January 2002-December2022) using the EPIC SlicerDicer at our institution. Over a twenty-year period, there were 55 cases of pediatric melanoma (53 patients).

Aim: Maternal substance use has been associated with a range of child risk factors. The study investigated the relationship between engagement with child health services and child protection outcomes for children of substance-using mothers.

Methods: The sample comprised 119 children of mothers who disclosed opiate, amphetamine or methadone use during a maternity admission between 2000 and 2003.

Objective: The aim was to examine referral pathways to child and youth consultation-liaison (C-L) services to identify patterns associated with demographic characteristics of patients, referral sources, the presenting problem and models of service.

Method: A case record review with a cross-sectional design. Data were extracted from the records of all patients referred to the C-L service for a 3 month period.
