Materials And Methods: We performed a retrospective analysis of 1737 men with diabetes and hypogonadism on testosterone therapy for 5 years of data from 2008-2018, isolating A1C, lipid panels, and BMI results for analysis.

Objective: In this paper, we present our efforts to enable such clinical translational through the evaluation and comparison of two machine-learning methods for discrimination between dementia of Alzheimer's type (DAT) and Non-DAT controls.

We performed a retrospective cohort study of 357 mothers and their infants <12 months who had confirmed or suspected COVID-19. Subjects came from an anonymous worldwide online survey between May 4 and September 30, 2020, who were recruited through social media, support groups, and health care providers.

An orally administered, fixed-dose coformulation of sodium phenylbutyrate-taurursodiol (PB-TURSO) significantly slowed functional decline in a randomized, placebo-controlled, phase 2 trial in ALS (CENTAUR). Herein we report results of a long-term survival analysis of participants in CENTAUR. In CENTAUR, adults with ALS were randomized 2:1 to PB-TURSO or placebo.

The disulfide reduction of intact monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) and subsequent formation of low molecular weight (LMW) species pose a direct risk to product stability, potency, and patient safety. Although enzymatic mechanisms of reduction are well established, an understanding of the cellular mechanisms during the bioreactor process leading to increased risk of disulfide reduction after harvest remains elusive. Chickpea is the main legume rotation crop within farming systems in northern New South Wales (NSW), Australia, and is grown mainly under rainfed conditions. Recent expansion of chickpea growing areas in southern and central western NSW expose them to abiotic stresses; however, knowledge about how these stresses affect overall crop development is limited. This study aimed to examine the influence of sowing time on the timing and duration of key chickpea phenological growth phases in southern and central western environments of NSW.

Here, we investigate the functional role of RNA localization at cellular protrusions of migrating mesenchymal cells, using as a model the RAB13 RNA, which encodes a GTPase important for vesicle-mediated membrane trafficking.

How and why children instigate talk in pediatric allergy consultations: A conversation analytic account.

Involving children in their healthcare encounter is a national and international priority. While existing research has examined the ways in which children are recruited to participate in the consultation, no work has examined whether and how children instigate talk, and the extent to which their contributions are successful. This paper presents a conversation analysis of a selection of 10 out of 30 video recordings in which children aged 4-10 years instigate talk during consultations they attend with their parents/carers at a UK pediatric clinic.
