Thyroid cancer is the most common endocrine malignancy with an estimated 43,800 new cases to be diagnosed in 2022 and representing the 7th most common cancer in women. While thyroid nodules are very common, being identified in over 60% of randomly selected adults, only 5-15% of thyroid nodules harbor thyroid malignancy. Therefore, it is incumbent upon physicians to detect and treat thyroid malignancies as is clinically appropriate and avoid unnecessary invasive procedures in patients with benign asymptomatic lesions.

A far less elucidated area of concern is the effect of these medications on osseointegrated implants, which require adequate bone formation to ensure long-term viability of the implant. To date, there are no reports in the otolaryngology literature examining the interplay between osteoporosis, bisphosphonate therapy, and osseointegrated bone-anchored hearing aids (BAHA).

Methods And Materials: Findings were reported from a single arm multi-institutional prospective phase 1/2 trial involving surgery plus Cs-131 (surgery + Cs-131) treatment.
Objectives: The aim of this research is to understand the importance of female career mentors, research mentors, co-residents, and program directors/chairs to current female otolaryngology residents when applying to residency. The importance of safety in the workplace was also investigated.
Methods: Surveys were sent via electronic mail to 119 programs, and program directors were asked to distribute them to female residents.

There is a significant need for evidence-based recommendations regarding the appropriate use of CPAP following endoscopic sinus and skull base surgery.
Objective: The goal of this study is to translate a previously developed cadaveric model for evaluating CPAP pressures in the sinonasal cavity by showing safety in vivo and quantifying the effect of positive pressurized air flow on the nasal cavity of healthy individuals where physiologic effects are at play.
