Methods: All patients who underwent an inpatient pediatric genitourinary surgery at the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh between August 2015 and February 2020 were identified. Inpatient and outpatient multimodal pain control utilization were assessed.
Purpose: Postoperative opioids are overprescribed in the United States. In November 2016 the State of Pennsylvania required an opioid consent for minors. Our hypothesis is that this mandate decreased postoperative opioid prescriptions in our division.

Although the frequency and timing of follow up imaging after pyeloplasty is variable, renal ultrasound (RUS) is commonly utilized. With minimal training, point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) can be easily performed by a urologist during a post-operative visit.

Recent Findings: Robotic urological surgery has been performed in the infant population across a variety of conditions including ureteropelvic junction obstruction, vesicoureteral reflux, and duplicated and nonfunctional renal moieties. However, most of the durable evidence showing safety and success remains in the repair of the obstructed ureteropelvic junction.
We identified factors associated with delay in presentation and misdiagnosis of testicular torsion. Compared with acute cases, delayed presentations were more likely to report isolated abdominal pain, developmental disorders, and history of recent genital trauma. Failure to perform a genitourinary examination or scrotal imaging was associated with misdiagnosis.
