Purpose: To describe a novel technique for securing sclerotomies after 20-gauge transconjunctival pars plana vitrectomy and determine the efficacy, and short-term safety in various vitreoretinal diseases.
Methods: Retrospective chart review of consecutive cases that underwent 20-gauge transconjunctival pars plana vitrectomy with sclerotomy hydration was conducted. The main outcome measures included intraocular pressure, intraocular gas bubble size in postoperative Day 1, and early postoperative complications.
Purpose: To study the effect of intravitreal ranibizumab on idiopathic epiretinal membranes (ERMs).
Methods: A retrospective cohort study on a consecutive series of ranibizumab intravitreal injections for epiretinal membranes was performed. Four cases were identified by reviewing a claims database linked to electronic medical records.
