 The video demonstrates the steps for an endoscopic transnasal approach for resection of the odontoid causing platybasia with basilar invasion.  The video reviews the clinical presentation, preoperative workup and imaging, patient positioning, technical nuances of the procedure, reconstruction, and clinical outcomes including postoperative imaging.  The surgery was performed by a skull base team including otolaryngologists and neurological surgeons at a large regional tertiary care facility.

A respiratory epithelial adenomatoid hamartoma (REAH) is an uncommon benign lesion often found in the sinonasal tract. We present a case of bilateral REAH originating from the anterior olfactory cleft treated with endoscopic surgical resection without recurrence. We highlight the characteristics of REAH and necessary steps to ensure proper diagnosis and treatment.

Background: Facial pain is a cardinal symptom of chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS) with significant impacts on patient treatment selection, quality of life, and outcomes. The association between facial pain and CRS disease severity has not been systematically evaluated with validated, facial pain-specific questionnaires. Our objective was to measure pain location, severity, and interference in patients with CRS, and correlate these to the location and severity of radiographic evidence of disease.
