Hybrid functional electrical stimulation (FES) and exoskeleton systems have emerged as a potential solution to provide upper limb movement assistance. Introduction: Individuals who have suffered a cervical spinal cord injury prioritize the recovery of upper limb function for completing activities of daily living.
