Purpose: When compared with radiosurgery, fractionated stereotactic radiotherapy for acoustic neuroma (AN) offers escalation of the tumor dose and potential sparing of auditory and facial nerve functions.
Methods And Materials: Between 1996 and 2001, 249 consecutive patients have received fractionated stereotactic radiotherapy for AN. One hundred twenty-five patients had follow-up >1 year and were the subject of this report.
