Treatment of Denture Stomatitis Using Modified Tissue Conditioners: A Systematic Review.

The most common sequela of wearing removable dentures is denture stomatitis. This review article uses a Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) format to collect data regarding articles that report on the treatment of denture stomatitis using tissue conditioners modified with antifungal drugs, inorganic compound, and phytomedicines. Their advantages, disadvantages, and mechanism of action are discussed.

Systematic analysis of factors that cause loss of preload in dental implants.

Unlabelled: Screw loosening is the most common factor associated with dental implant failure. One of the major cause for screw loosening is the "loss of preload". Several factors including screw geometry, material properties particularly stiffness, surface texture and condition of mating surfaces, degree of lubrication, rate of tightening, integrity of joint etc.

Partial Edentulousness in a Rural Population Based on Kennedy's Classification: Epidemiological Study.

Introduction: Edentulousness falls in a special category among the various conditions of dental origin. A simple estimation of the partial edentulous condition is a rough indication of the prevalence of dental diseases and success or failure of dental care.

Methodology: In this study a cross sectional survey was carried out among 1000 patients of rural population in JKK Nataraja Dental College, Komarapalayam, Namakkal District, Tamilnadu, India.
