Objectives: Heart involvement is one of the leading causes of death in systemic sclerosis (SSc). The prevalence of SSc-related cardiac involvement is poorly known. Our objective was to investigate the prevalence and prognosis burden of different heart diseases in a nationwide cohort of patients with SSc.

Its course is marked by a high relapse rate requiring long-term glucocorticoid use with its inherent adverse effects. We aimed to identify factors associated with relapses or recurrences in GCA at diagnosis.

This qualitative study explores the nature and context of LH restrictions in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) individuals across their SLE journey.
Methods: Narrative interviews were conducted with adult SLE patients.
Background: A novel multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children (MIS-C) temporally associated with the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) infection has been reported, arising weeks after the peak incidence of COVID-19 infection in adults. Patients with MIS-C have been reported to have cardiac involvement and clinical features overlapping with other acute inflammatory syndromes such as Kawasaki disease, toxic shock syndrome, and macrophage activation syndrome. Multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children may follow COVID-19 infection, most of the time after its asymptomatic form, even though it can lead to serious and life-threatening illness.

Methods: We performed a double-blind, multicentre, phase II trial from October 2015 to January 2018 in France. SSc patients with a Cochin Hand Function Scale (CHFS) ≥20/90 were randomized 1:1 to receive injection of AD-SVF or placebo.
Background: The detection of additional autoantibodies is of great concern in systemic sclerosis (SSc) when those included in the ACR/EULAR classification are negative. In this context, the interest of antifibrillarin (anti-U3RNP) autoantibodies (AFAs) in the routine evaluation of SSc remains unclear. We aimed to assess the relevance of AFAs and their clinical association in SSc patients.

Autoimmune and inflammatory diseases occur in up to 25% of patients with myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS). This study aimed to describe the rare association between IM and MDS.

We aimed at assessing the presence of endoscopic lesions in SSc patients with OMD. The secondary objective was to identify the clinical and serological profile of such patients.

We performed a review of the medical literature to describe clinical, biological, pathological, and treatment characteristics from AOSD patients with acute severe hepatitis.

The patient presented with subacute cerebellar syndrome and myoclonus several days after general infectious symptoms began. Clinical examination, CT, PET, MRI, and autoantibody testing were performed.

Primary HLH occurs early in life as a result of monogenic biallelic mutations affecting lymphocyte cytotoxicity. Secondary HLH occurs mostly in adults secondary to infection, lymphoma, or rheumatic disease.

The modified Rodnan skin score (mRSS) is a widely used tool for the assessment of the extent and degree of skin thickness. This study aimed to identify the classes of patients with early similar skin thickening trajectories without any a priori assumptions and study their associations with organ involvement and survival.

The anticoagulation of VTE in a young population is an important question. Indeed, hemorrhagic complications of anticoagulation may occur more frequently than in the general population.

Methods: We performed a cross-sectional monocentric study. All patients with inflammatory myopathies (IMs) over a 6-month period were analyzed by NVC for giant and ramified capillaries, tortuosities, capillary density, disorganization, and scleroderma pattern.
Pachymeningitis is rare, either idiopathic or secondary to inflammatory disorders, after tumoral, surgical or infectious causes have been excluded. The fibroinflammatory IgG4-related disease is one of the etiologies of pachymeningitis with only few cases reported yet. From a single referral regional center, we evaluated the frequency of IgG4-related disease as the cause of inflammatory pachymeningitis in 10% of cases.

Methods: We performed a literature review and report four supplementary cases from the French registry of neutropenia.
Results: Only 14 cases (11 mothers, 14 newborns) have been reported.
Background: We conducted a monocentric retrospective study of patients with myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) and autoimmune or inflammatory disorders (AIMs) and a literature review. We analyzed the association with subgroups of the WHO 2016 MDS classification and patient's survival in a case control study. Risk factors associated with survival were analyzed by uni- and multivariate analysis.

The non-classical class-I human leukocyte antigen (HLA) molecule HLA-G plays a pivotal role for the implantation and maintenance of pregnancy and has often been investigated in offspring from women with pregnancy complications. However data show that maternal polymorphisms as well as maternal soluble HLA-G (sHLA-G) expression could influence pregnancy outcome.

Methods: Serum KL-6 concentrations were measured with chemiluminescent enzyme immunoassay (CLEIA) in 75 SSc patients. Patients were divided into two groups according to the presence of interstitial lung disease (SSc-ILD versus SSc-without ILD) on chest High-Resolution Computed Tomography.
Background: Alemtuzumab is a humanized monoclonal antibody directed at CD52 approved as a disease-modifying therapy for relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis (MS).
Objective: To describe a case of a life-threatening autoimmune anemia occurring after a first course of alemtuzumab for relapsing-remitting MS in a 28-year-old male.
Methods: Case report.
Background: Bevacizumab, an anti-VEGF monoclonal antibody, has recently emerged as a new option for severe forms of hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia (HHT). Its utilization in this orphan disease has rapidly spread despite the lack of randomized trials and international guidelines. The objective of this study is to report the main clinical data (baseline characteristics, dose schedule, efficacy, adverse events and deaths) of HHT patients treated by intravenous bevacizumab in France.

Methods And Results: We conducted a retrospective study of all suspected cases of PH (echocardiographically estimated systolic pulmonary artery pressure [sPAP] ≥ 40 mmHg) in patients with definite HHT recorded in the French National Reference Centre for HHT database. When right heart catheterization (RHC) was performed, PH cases were confirmed and classified among the PH groups according to the European guidelines.
