Philip Musgrove interviewed Jean-Louis Sarbib for Health Affairs on 23 May 2005 in a wide-ranging discussion of the Bank's experience with global health issues, including where the Bank has been most successful (disease control) or most frustrated (health systems). Since 1985 the World Bank has committed a total of dollar 22.6 billion to health projects; it is the largest source of development assistance for health.
