Early phase clinical and biological markers associated with subclinical atherosclerosis measured at 7 years of evolution in an early inflammatory arthritis cohort.

Objectives: Accelerated atherosclerosis has emerged as a critical issue in rheumatoid arthritis (RA). There is a need to better understand the link between RA and atherosclerosis. Our aim was to identify parameters associated with the development of subclinical atheroma in a very early arthritis (VErA) cohort.

Hepatic vascular flow measurements by phase contrast MRI and doppler echography: a comparative and reproducibility study.

Purpose: To directly compare and study the variability of parameters related to hepatic blood flow measurements using 3 T phase-contrast magnetic resonance imaging (PC-MRI) and Doppler ultrasound (US).

Materials And Methods: Nine healthy subjects were studied. Blood velocities and flow rate measurements were performed in the portal vein and the proper hepatic artery.
