A systematic search of the literature available on the use of Levonorgestrel intra-uterine system (LNG-IUS) in women with abnormal uterine bleeding was done. This included PubMed searches up to February 2017 as well as references available with the authors. LNG-IUS usage in other situations was not included in the study.
