The DNA damage response (DDR) mechanisms that allow cells to tolerate DNA replication stress are critically important for genome stability and cell viability. Using an unbiased genetic screen we identify a role for the RING finger E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF25 in promoting DNA replication stress tolerance. In response to DNA replication stress, RNF25-deficient cells generate aberrantly high levels of single-stranded DNA (ssDNA), accumulate in S-phase and show reduced mitotic entry.

Iatrogenic chyle leak is commonly seen when dissection happens very low in neck. Management of chyle leak is conservative with compression dressing, fat restricted diet, somatostatin analogues. Surgery is required in extreme cases with failure of conservative treatment.

Unusual Presentation of Malignant Peripheral Nerve Sheath Tumour of Mandible as a Colossal Tumour After Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy.

The uniqueness of this case is the presentation of malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumors arising from the mandible as a colossal tumor of size of about 28 cm and weight of 1.5 kg after the first cycle of neoadjuvant chemotherapy. Role of neoadjuvant chemotherapy remains controversial and can be avoided if margin negative resection is feasible.

Versatility of 3D laproscopy for radical prostatectomy: A single tertiary cancer center experience.

Variant origins of arteries in the carotid triangle - a case report.

The left superior laryngeal artery was observed arising from the external carotid artery instead of the superior thyroid artery in the cadaver of an approximately 70 year-old Asian man. In addition, on the same side, the superior thyroid artery arose from the common carotid artery 2 cm before the bifurcation instead of its usual origin from the external carotid artery. From the external carotid artery, the lingual and facial arteries arose from the common linguofacial trunk.

Successful recovery of preimplantation embryos by nonsurgical uterine flushing in the bonnet monkey.

A major limitation to progress in primate embryology is the lack of an adequate supply of preimplantation embryos. We describe a method for recovering preimplantation-embryos in bonnet monkeys (Macaca radiata ) using a nonsurgical uterine flushing technique similar to the one previously employed in rhesus monkeys. Forty cyclic females were screened for cervical cannulation, and 10% of these had an impassable cervix.
