Background: Transnasal endoscopy (TNE) has been introduced in the care of pediatric patients with eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE) who require repeated esophagoscopies. TNE, as compared to conventional endoscopy, is less invasive and avoids sedation or anesthesia allowing for frequent assessments of the esophageal mucosa when making management decisions. The aim of this study is to review our early experience with TNE.

The objective of our study is to compare the neurobehavioral morbidity of mild sleep-disordered breathing versus obstructive sleep apnea.
Methods: Children 3-12 years old recruited for mild sleep-disordered breathing (snoring with obstructive apnea-hypopnea index < 3) into the Pediatric Adenotonsillectomy Trial for Snoring were compared to children 5-9 years old recruited for obstructive sleep apnea (obstructive apnea-hypopnea 2-30) into the Childhood Adenotonsillectomy Trial.
Background: Acute otitis media (AOM), or ear infection, is the most common reason for pediatric medical visits in the United States [1]. Additionally, transportation barriers are a significant driver of missed and delayed care across medical specialties [2,3]. Yet, the role of transportation barriers in impeding access for children with frequent ear infections (FEI) has not been investigated.
