Purpose: To report a case of Kaposi sarcoma in a patient with previously undiagnosed Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) infection.

Observations: A 23-year-old male patient presented to the eye clinic with complaints of redness of his left eye for the past month. The patient had been seen one day prior to presentation in the emergency department for a neck mass and pneumonia.

Purpose: To evaluate the clinical utility of spherocylindrical automated refraction (AR) based on time-based wavefront technology compared with subjective manifest refraction (MR) for the purpose of prescribing eyeglasses.

Design: Prospective observational case series.

Participants: A convenience sample of 105 eyes of 53 patients (ages 19 to 87) with corrected acuity no worse than 20/40(-2).

We present a case of bilateral dislocation of in-the-bag intraocular lenses (IOLs) in a patient with intermediate uveitis. The IOLs dislocated into the vitreous cavity 24 and 41 months postoperatively. A complete pars plana vitrectomy with sutured posterior chamber IOL implantation was performed after each dislocation.
