Is Piezosurgery Associated with Improved Patient Outcomes Compared to Conventional Osteotomy in Rhinoplasty? A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis of RCTs.

Rhinoplasty is a common plastic surgery procedure with evolving surgical techniques. This systematic review and meta-analysis compares the outcomes of piezosurgery versus conventional osteotomy in rhinoplasty. A comprehensive search of six databases yielded 12 randomized controlled trials (RCTs) comparing piezosurgery (292 cases) to conventional osteotomy (338 cases) in rhinoplasty patients.
