Deep postanal abscesses (DPAs) are uncommon but clinically significant conditions that, if left untreated, can result in severe septic complications. This case report presents a rare instance of sacrococcygeal osteomyelitis as a complication of a long-standing DPA. The patient underwent surgical drainage and seton placement, leading to complete resolution of both the abscess and the osteomyelitis.

PURPOSE This study evaluated single center results of endovascular treatment in renal angiomyolipoma (AML) to determine whether there is clinical relevance of adding proximal coil embolization to distal particle embolization in terms of safety, efficacy and retreatment rates. METHODS A retrospective analysis was performed to evaluate patients undergoing transarterial embolization for renal AMLs from January 2007 to October 2020. In this pictorial review, we present imaging findings of usual and unusual splenic emergencies. It is essential to be familiar with key imaging findings and advantages of different modalities to reach a definitive diagnosis.
