Background: There are little data on the use of virtual care for patients with arrhythmia. We evaluated a virtual clinic platform, in conjunction with specialist care, for patients with symptomatic atrial fibrillation (AF).
Methods: This was a prospective, observational cohort study evaluating an online educational and treatment platform, with a randomized sub-study examining the use of an ambulatory single-lead electrocardiogram heart monitor (AHM).
Background: The layered learning practice model (LLPM), within which a pharmacist supervises both a pharmacy resident and a student, mitigates the growing demand for clinical rotations that has accompanied national expansion of Doctor of Pharmacy programs. Increased implementation of the LLPM alongside cpKPI measurement offers opportunities to compare the LLPM with standard practice in terms of pharmaceutical care delivery.

The secondary objective was to assess the efficacy of rectal acetaminophen administration in terms of the Premature Infant Pain Profile-Revised (PIPP-R) score.
